Editorial Policy

We sell brand protection and we write about brand protection. Here is how we handle that.

What we publish

We write about brand protection, domain recovery, trademark monitoring and portfolio management. These are the services we sell, so our commercial interest is obvious and we do not pretend otherwise. What follows is how we keep the writing useful anyway.

How we research

Factual claims are based on primary sources where possible: the UDRP and URS rules and published panel decisions, ICANN policy, registrar and registry transfer procedures, and trademark office guidance. Where practice differs by registry or jurisdiction — and in domain disputes it frequently does — we say so instead of generalising.

We do not promise outcomes

This matters most on the recovery side. A UDRP outcome depends on the panel, the evidence and the respondent's conduct; a registrar recovery depends on that registrar's process. No provider can guarantee a result, and we do not publish success rates we cannot substantiate. If we think a case is weak, we would rather tell you that before you spend on a filing.

This is not legal advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and reading it does not create a client relationship. Domain and trademark disputes turn on facts and jurisdiction; involve qualified counsel before acting.

No invented numbers

We do not publish statistics, client counts or credentials we cannot substantiate. Where a figure is an estimate, we label it as one.

Accuracy and corrections

If we publish something inaccurate, we fix it. Material corrections — anything that changes a fact or a recommendation — are made promptly and noted on the page rather than quietly edited. Minor fixes are made without a note. Spotted an error? Email [email protected] with the URL and what you believe is correct.

Use of AI

We may use AI tools to help draft, outline or edit. AI is never the final authority: a person is responsible for every published page, checks its claims, and stands behind it. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated text.
